League Meeting: Sunday, November 11th - 6pm

November Is Election Month

Location: Fox Valley Savings Bank

 

Attendance is preferred but message us if interested but are unable to attend meeting.

This is an extremely important meeting as we have several open positions.  If you find yourself with fresh ideas for the league, a want to continue to help Waupun Little League build and enjoy  working in the community come join us on the Board.  



2019-Open-Board-Positions

Vice President

2 years

  • Presides in absence of president
  • Works with other officers and committee members
  • Is ex-officio member of all committees
  • Carries out such duties and assignments as may be delegated by the president
  • A vice president may manage, coach or umpire, provided they do not serve on the protest committee

Treasure

2 years

  • Signs checks co-signed by another officer
  • Dispenses league funds as approved by the board of directors
  • Reports on the status of league funds • Keeps local league books and financial records
  • Assumes the responsibility for all local league finances

Registration Director

1 year

  • Organizes and attends registration
  • Keeps BOC with information provided at registration
  • Works with Volunteer Coordinator to keep list of unworked volunteer hours and attempts to obtain payment at registration

Chief Umpire

1 year

  • Provides umpire training
  • Schedules Umpires
  • Member of Protest Committee

Fields Manager

2 years

  • Oversees complex maintenance
  • Keeps the fields in good condition
  • Reports to the Board of Directors any repairs and equipment needed
  • Gets fields ready for home tournaments

Development Coordinator

2 years

  • Coordinate teamwork through all levels of Waupun baseball
  • Conducts player and coach camp

Juniors Coordinator

2 years

  • Schedule games
  • Schedule umpires
  • Run concessions (not mandatory)

Fall Ball Director

2 years

  • Main Point of contact
  • Find coaches
  • Schedule games
  • Schedule umpires
  • Run/Set up light concessions (not mandatory)

Photo Coordinator

2 years

  • Manage Picture Days and times to make sure teams have what they need and are ready when supposed to be
  • Have a backup plan should weather occur

Apparel Coordinator

2 years

  • One point of contact to work closely with Kristen
  • Help with Designs
  • Orders League jerseys and hats
  • Help order apparel as needed
  • Pickup and distribute orders
  • Get invoices to Treasurer and checks to Supplier(s)

All-star Coordinator

2 years

  • Works with Player Agent to schedule teams and game times dates, etc
  • Create the All-Star Brochure get printed, and distributed
  • Looks for Sponsors and or advertising in the Program
  • Skills competition set up
