Ball Touch Descriptions for Daily Work-Out Sheet

TOE TOUCHES:
With the left foot on the ground, touch the bottom of your right toes on the top of the ball, and then bring your right foot to the ground, then lift your left foot up and touch the top of the ball with the bottom of your left toes, and continue to rotate. Try to move the ball around with each touch on the ball. Try moving the ball "backwards, forwards, and side to side".
SQUARE BOXES / POPCORN:
Tap the ball with the inside of your right foot towards your left foot, then tap the ball with the inside of your left foot back to your right foot. Continue back and forth and try moving the ball around the soccer field.
FOOT JUGGLES- Right & Left feet:
Start by dropping the ball from shoulder height to the top of your foot, and kick the ball back into your hands. Continue this until you are able to juggle the ball continuously with the foot. Now try juggling with both feet continuously.
The trick to this is to keep your toes pointed forwards----NOT UP IN THE AIR.
THIGH JUGGLES - Right & Left thighs:
Start by dropping the ball from shoulder height to the top of your thighs, and tap the ball back into your hands. Continue this until you are able to juggle the ball continuously with the thigh. Now try juggling with both thighs continuously.
100 YARD RUN: Right & Left
Using the INSTEP of your Foot only. This is using the LACES of your shoe while you are running.
BACKWARDS RUNS:
You will use your TOES and pulling Backwards on the ball, take your toe on the ball, and pull towards you. Make sure that you take a step back with each touch.
RUNNING FORWARDS:
This is a little challenging. What I want you to try to do is scoot the ball forward using the bottom of your toes and foot. With each touch on the ball, you should take a step forward.
WALK THE BALL - DOG: Right & Left:
Using the bottom of your right foot, take the ball of your foot (just behind the toes) and roll it over the ball towards your left side, take a step and do it over again, and continue.
Using the bottom of your left foot, take the ball of your foot (just behind the toes) and roll it over the ball towards your right side, take a step and do it over again, and continue.
100 YARD RUN: Right & Left:
Using the INSIDE & OUTSIDE of the foot.
CUTS - Right & Left Foot:
Scoot ball forward and using your right foot- CHOP CUT using the Inside of your foot, and change the direction the ball is traveling, and continue in your new direction, and continue cutting.
Scoot ball forward and using your left foot- CHOP CUT using the Inside of your foot, and change the direction the ball is traveling, and continue in your new direction, and continue cutting.
TURN & CUTS Right & Left:
While dribbling the ball, take your right foot, CHOP CUT using then Outside of your foot and turning to the right and turning into the direction that you were coming from, continue dribbling and cut to the right again, and continue on.
While dribbling the ball, take your left foot, CHOP CUT using then Outside of your foot and turning to the left and turning into the direction that you were coming from, continue dribbling and cut to the left again, and continue on.
