Fastball Showcases arms in 1st 3 games
In a great tribute to focus we place on arm stregnth and the Fastball throwing program we have thrown out 3 runers in 3 games trying to advance bases.  Olivia Genthner showed terrific awareness and arm strengh on 2 fly balls over her head to right field throwing out runners trying to get a double.   Both throws were fantastic.   Sara Raucci showed great awareness on a hard hit ball to right field throwing the  runner out at first and then as the runner on second tried to score on the hit "G" fired home to complete the double play.  There were also 2 other great throws on Sunday which almost resulted in double plays at the plate.  Great to see the hard work training paying off.  Those were fantastic plays at any level of play.

    150 Feet

We set cones out yesterday at practice at 150 during Batting Practice/Front Toss. in an attemp to make it more fun.  I am sure all of the parents have seen the setup.  It is not remarkable challenging for the girls. but let's them get some good swings in.   The news flash several girls were hitting the ball to hte cones at 150 feet on miss hits and more than a few cleared the 150 foot cones easlily on a fly. Great job girls.   Lots of hard work in the offseason is paying off.
