Alternatively, you may wish to purchase online (click icon below):

Your team's coach will have a sufficient number of footballs for practices and games; however, you may wish to purchase a football for use at home.

Both leather and "composite" surface materials are acceptable for league play as long as the ball is the appropriate size.  Leather footballs, while traditional, are also considerably more expensive.  The newer composite footballs are usually half the cost of leather balls and oftentimes provide a superior grip for young players.

NIKE® makes a particularly nice composite football ... excellent "tackiness" (grip).
