ZYFL EQUIPMENT RETURN

FAILURE TO RETURN EQUIPMENT BY FINAL COLLECTION DATE

Any participants not returning their equipment by the final collection date (*** designation above) will be invoiced for $110 in equipment costs.

NOTE:  Team logo and performance award decals must be removed from helmets before return.

For easiest removal, simply warm the decal using a blow-dryer (high heat) for about 1 minute, then the decal should peel off easily without leaving a sticky adhesive residue.  If there is any residual adhesive, you may be able to remove simply by rubbing with your thumb; it this doesn't work, then try mineral spirits.

Do NOT use an organic solvent like acetone, as this will dissolve plastic and damage the helmet.

Shoulder pads should be lightly sprayed with Lysol and dried before turning in.

Equipment will be accepted back in the same or better condition than it was received by the player.

Coaches bags need to be turned in as well; each bag should be cleaned out of trash, having all the balls, kicking tees, scrimmage vests, parts bag, screwdriver, and medical kit inside of each bag.

Join USA Football and the Indianapolis Colts for a coaching clinic designed exclusively for youth football coaches.

Learn effective ways to develop and organize your team, teach proper fundamentals, implement drills and communicate with players, parents and other coaches.

Zionsville Youth Football League will reimburse clinic fee for all qualified ZYFL Coaching Candidates.

Pre-approval for re-imbursement is required and may be obtained by emailing the appropriate Commissioner (below); approval does not constitute a guarantee that you will be selected to coach in ZYFL.

PRIZE OFFERING  (for Parent Evaluation of Coaches Surveys)

ZYFL seeks your feedback on the performance of your coaches and our league through our online survey; input from parents is crucial in guiding our selection of next year's coaches as well as improvements to our league operations.

As an incentive for parents (and their players) to complete our online evaluation of coaches and the league, ZYFL will offer a $100 Gift Card (Dick's Sporting Goods or Best Buy) to each of 2 players whose names will be randomly drawn from the team with the highest response rate to our survey; non-responders are ineligible for prize award drawing.
