All coaches, players, and parents are representing Zia Little League and should act accordingly.


No outside coolers or food will be allowed inside the park areas at any field. No pets and no smoking will be allowed inside the park areas.


All-Star Expectations – Players

  • Be at practice every time a practice is scheduled

  • ALLWAYS HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE

  • Absolutely no fighting or profanity will be allowed, (consider this your one and only warning, because there are no second chances)

  • Be willing to play with coaches and players that you have not played on the same team with during the regular season.

  • Be willing to play whatever position you are asked to play without questioning.

  • Be respectful of your coaches, umpires, and the other players on your team at all times.

  • Never throw your hat, helmet or glove on the field or in the dugout.

  • Never talk back to any umpire, coach or league official.

  • No leaving the dugout unless to visit the restroom.


All-Star Expectations – Parents

  • All outstanding fees must be paid (no exceptions)

  • Make arrangements for your child to be at every practice, (if he/she will not be there, inform the coach)

  • Do not be critical of the coaches, other players on the team or umpires.

  • Be supportive of your child as well as all of the players on the team

  • Understand that your child may not play the amount of time or the position you are accustomed to seeing him/her play.

  • The games may not be held at Zia, so you will need to make arrangements for your child to get to the appropriate game site at the designated time. (one hour prior to game time)

  • Once the players have entered in to the dugout area, they are not allowed to leave unless escorted to the restroom and they cannot talk to the parents from the dugout.

  • No pets are allowed in the park area.

  • No smoking in the park area.


Spirit Shirts

We will be ordering Spirit Shirts for parents and players. All players/parents wanting Spirit Shirts will have to order and pay for the shirts before we can place the order. Please get an order form from the Manager of your team and turn them in by June 18th for your child and you to receive one. Orders will be placed on June 18th.


Fund Raising

Each child is expected to pay the profit of $60.00 or sell two (2) boxes of candy. The candy money is due to be turned in no later than June 18th for Rookie, Minor Metro players and June 22nd all others. (No Exceptions)


Proof of Age

We are required to have the original state certified birth certificate for each player.


Proof of Residency

We are required to have three of any or all of the following as proof of residence. All three (3) must be dated between February 1, 2014 and February 1, 2015. These will be returned to you as soon as NM Little League District 5 signs off on them. These need to be turned into the league officials no later than June 18th. (No exceptions)


1. Driver’s License

2. Voter’s Registration

3. School records

4. Welfare/child care records

5. Federal records

6. State records

7. Local (municipal) records

8. Support payment records

9. Homeowner or tenant records

10. Utility bills (i.e., gas, electric,

water/sewer, phone, mobile phone,

heating, waste disposal)

11. Financial (loan, credit, investments,

etc.) records

12. Insurance documents

13. Medical records

14. Military records

15. Internet, cable or satellite records

16. Vehicle records

17. Employment Record


Note: Example – Three utility bills (three items from No. 10 above) constitute only ONE document.


II. A player will be deemed to attend school in the boundaries if:


A. The physical location of the school where they attend classes is within the boundaries established by the local league. Note: This excludes home schools, cyber schools, sports-related schools, sports academies, or preschool or after school where a student participates outside of the primary school the player is enrolled.


School attendance” refers to the (place) physical location the player in question attends school during the traditional academic year. Once established, a location of school attendance shall not be considered changed unless the child is enrolled and attends another school or is no longer enrolled in the previous school.


School attendance shall be established and supported by a document indicating enrollment for the current academic year, dated prior to October 1, 2014 and with the physical location of the school, from ONE of the following categories to determine school attendance by such player:


1. Official/Certified School enrollment record

2. School issued report card or performance record

3. A Little League issued school attendance form completed by the principal, assistant principal or administrator

There will be a late charge of $10.00 charged on all registrations after February 1, 2015. Registration will be held at the Manzano Mesa Community Center at the corner of Elizabeth and Southern SE (501 Elizabeth SE) or Register on-line.

Players MUST be League Age's 4 - 18, to be eligible to play and MUST live within our Boundaries.

Registration Fees's

$110.00 for the First player

$60.00 for the Second and Third.

$40.00 for the Fourth

FREE - Fifth Player and more

ALL players are REQUIRED to sell ONE box of candy to offset costs. If you sell TWO boxes, you receive a $30 discount. You also have the option to buy the candy offset ($30)

EXAMPLE: One player, $110. Sell two boxes of candy - $80! EXAMPLE 2: One player, $110, don't sell ANY candy - $140. EXAMPLE 3: One player, $110. Sell one box of candy - $110.

League Boundaries: West of city limits, to I-40, south of I-40 to Easterday, West of Easterday (Moon) to Menaul, South of Menaul to Wyoming, East of Wyoming to central, west of Central to Carlisle, east of Carlisle to Gibson, North of Gibson to Eubank, east of Eubank to city limits. Includes KAFB.
