Welcome to the Zia FC Fall 2014 Season!

Hi Zia FC!

The first game is in just a little over a month, and we are so excited for a fantastic fall season! Thank you for registering with us and becoming part of our Zia FC family. We are so thankful for each and every one of you! If you haven't yet registered, there is still time! Just click on the orange "Register Now!" link on the home page, www.ziafc.org.

1) If you registered, you should have already received your team assignment and coach contact information for the fall season via email. You should be hearing from your wonderful, amazing coaches soon, but please feel free to contact them if you haven't heard anything about practice schedules, etc. in the next couple of weeks.

2) Before the season starts, please review our Documents link on our home page, www.ziafc.org:

    a) The Zia FC Laws of the Game contains the game length, ball size, and rules played for each age group, among other important information. Particularly relevant are the new rules in all age groups of the number of players on the field at one time, and in U5 of boss-of-the-ball inbounds play and nogoalkeepers.

    b) The Code of Conduct is something we take very, very seriously, and that each of you signed upon registration. Please become familiar with it, and make sure guests are also aware of our policies.

    c) Lastly, the Waiver of Liability and Release Form is also something each of you signed upon registration.

3) Please remember that every player needs cleats and shinguards, and a ball is also recommended (please see the Laws of the Game Document for the size ball needed). House of Soccer (Spain and Eubank) has a package deal every season for around $25 or $30 for all three.

4) If you haven't already, please add no-reply@leagueone.com to your list of safe email senders so these emails do not get sent to junk mail.

5) If you volunteered as a team parent or would like to, thank you! Unfortunately, there is no way to add you to the official roster without having you do a background check like all coaches and assistant coaches, which is a little unnecessary for most team parents. Coaches do have a list of the team parents who volunteered, but please make sure you introduce yourself to your coach and tell him/her that you would like to help with any Team Parent duties.

6) And...without further adieu, here is the link to the game schedules for the fall season! It has also been added to the home page at www.ziafc.org

Thank you so much, and we can't wait to see you all again next month!
