Zaibas hosted this year's tournament at Spire Institute.  This incredible venue was  ground zero for 34 teams from Chicago, Detroit, Toronto and Cleveland. Approximately 300 athletes participated with their families in 8 age divisions ( 7 - 15 years old).  Kudos go to the organizers, coaches and volunteers who made this weekend so memorable for so many! ACIU!

 Congrats to both Vytas Apanavicius and Stefa Juodvalkyte-Gedgaudiene for becoming the newest inductees into the Zaibas Hall of Fame, Class of 2012.

Vytas Apanavicius' unparalleled commitment to the Lithuanian Athletic Club, Zaibas for the past 21 years as Treasurer and Leader earns him a place among a select group of individuals: Algis Bielskus, Rytas Babickas, Vytenis Ciurlionis, Ausra Babickiene and Rita Kliorys just to name a few. His vital role in our organization’s success these past two decades was instrumental and I want to personally thank him for his contributions.

Stefa Juodvalkyte was Zaibas's Volleyball /Track and Field Star of the late 50's and early 60's. Her volleyball teams were repeat AAU Regional Champions in 1959 and 1960. She dominated numerous SALFASS/LAUNA events.
