                                  2009 NORTH AMERICAN LITHUANIAN TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

1. 2009 N.A. Lithuanian Track & Field Championships will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Villa Angela - St. Joseph High School, Lakeshore Blvd. & East 185th Str., Cleveland, OH. The host - Cleveland Lithuanian Athletic Club"- Zaibas Juniors, Inc.

2. PROGRAM of EVENTS:

MEN's OPEN (19-29 years): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put 16 lb, Discus 2kg, Javelin 800 g.

WOMEN's OPEN (19-29 years): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put 4 kg, Discus 1kg, Javelin 600 g.

YOUNG MEN (Born 1990 - 1992): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put 12 lb, Discus 1.2kg, Javelin 800 g.

YOUNG WOMEN (Born 1990 - 1992): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put 4 kg, Discus 1kg, Javelin 600 g.

INTERMEDIATE BOYS (Born 1993-1994): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put 12 lb, Discus 1.2kg, Javelin 800 g.

INTERMEDIATE GIRLS (Born 1993 - 1994): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put 4 kg, Discus 1kg, Javelin 600 g.

YOUTH BOYS (Born 1995-1996): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put 4 kg, Discus 1kg, Javelin 600 g.

YOUTH GIRLS (Born 1995-1996): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put 6 lb, Discus 1kg, Javelin 600 g.

MIDGET BOYS (Born 1997-1998): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put 6 lb, Discus 1kg, Javelin 600 g.

MIDGET GIRLS (Born 1997-1998): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put 6 lb, Discus 1kg, Javelin 600 g.

BANTAM BOYS (Born 1999-2000): 60m, 100m, 400m, 800m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put 6 lb, baseball throw.

BANTAM GIRLS (Born 1999-2000): 60m, 100m, 400m, 800m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put 6 lb, baseball throw.

PEE_WEE BOYS (Born 2001-2002): 60m, 100m, 200m, Long Jump, baseball throw.

PEE_WEE GIRLS (Born 2001-2002): 60m, 100m, 200m, Long Jump, baseball throw.

SUB PEE_WEE BOYS (Born 2003 & Younger): 60m, 100m, Long Jump, baseball throw.

SUB PEE_WEE GIRLS (Born 2003 & Younger): 60m, 100m,  Long Jump, baseball throw

2a. SUB MASTERS (30 - 34 & 35-39 years) and all MASTERS DIVISIONS (40 - 44, 45- 49, etc. every 5 years) for Men & Women are provided. Program of Events - same as Open division. Implements - according to WAVA standards. Competitor's age on the day of the meet determines division. Schedul to comply with the Open Division.

3. STARTING TIME: 1:30pm. Registration - from 12 noon.

4. ELIGIBILITY: Open to all athletes of Lithuanian descent. LAUNA membership requested. (If you are Zaibas members already included).

5. ENTRY FEE: To be decided at the site.

8. ALL ATHLETES have to compete in their own divisions, however any athlete 14 years and older is allowed to compete in Open division in addition to his/her own division.

9. FINAL ENTRY with fees will be accepted at the site on the day of the meet.
