Welcome to the Lithuanian Athletic Club - Zaibas website!
Zaibas is a non-profit sports organization celebrating it's 62nd anniversary offering an outlet for all Northeast Ohio area residents of Lithuanian lineage to compete against similar clubs in the Lithuanian Athletic Union of North America (LAUNA / SALFASS). We welcome you to our web site and hope that it offers you a glimpse of our storied past and introduces you to our current efforts of promoting athletics to our youth. 2012 North American Lithuanian Juniors basketball tournament May 19-20th Geneva, OH
Zaibas hosted this year's tournament at Spire Institute. This incredible venue was ground zero for 34 teams from Chicago, Detroit, Toronto and Cleveland. Approximately 300 athletes participated with their families in 8 age divisions ( 7 - 15 years old). Kudos go to the organizers, coaches and volunteers who made this weekend so memorable for so many! ACIU!
