Affordable Lapel Pins Don't Forget What Comes Before & After Your Workout

Sometimes we are so anxious to get our workout going that we totally forget about warming up and cooling down. Other times, we remember that it's something we should do, but we're not sure how to do it.

If you're questioning whether or not to even bother with these pre- and post-workout practices, be advised that you should do them. They can affect your workout intensity, risk of injury, workout recovery and degree of delayed muscle soreness.

On the other hand, if you're already sold on their benefits, but not sure that you're doing them correctly, keep reading to find the "before" and "after" exercise tips your workout needs. More...

It's that time of year again when many of you are gearing up for or have already started summer camps and tournaments. Click here to post your tournament on our Tournament Resource page. Click here to post your camp on our Camps & Clinics page.

Don't forget that we we're the leading Online Registration provider for amateur and youth sports. Make registration quick and easy for your Tournaments and Camps and allow your participants to register online! Visit www.eteamz.com/registration.

We've received many questions on adding a tournament schedule to your eteamz site. If you're not using Tournament Builder Pro to build and schedule brackets, we suggest adding your tournament schedules to your eteamz site by doing the following:
    • Add a location titled 'TBA' in your Locations folder and a team named 'TBA' in the Teams folder. Schedule Your Team vs. TBA in the Games folder and put the name of the Tournament in the "Game Name" box.

    • Once the tournament has been played, go back and enter the name of the team you played in the Teams folder and then click the edit icon behind the game in your Games folder. Here, you can remove the tournament name from the Game Name box and replace the TBA team with the correct opponent. You have to delete the tournament name from the Game Name box if you'd like to see the scores on the Schedule page (the Game Name overrides the display of the scores).

    • You may also want to enter each tournament as its own schedule within the Games section of the Schedules folder. In the upper right side of the page, click the "add/edit schedule" link. If you add a separate schedule for each tournament bracket (pool play, quarter finals, semi-finals and finals), you'll be able to view each bracket record and stats separately.
Note: Make sure you select the correct schedule from the drop down box when entering your games.

If you have any suggestions for the next newsletter, send me an email to: erichastips@eteamz.com.

Safe! SnapShotz Photo of the Month

    Submitted by: Steve Miller

The photo is of Ashley M. scoring the winning run for '91 Texas Elite against the Texas Glory Gold 14U team in extra innings. '91 Elite won the game 3-2. Her father, Slade M., is the team's head coach, and is in the background at third base.

'91 Elite is a 12U team, and they played up in a 14U tournament, and finished in second place. In a double elimination format, '91 Elite lost their first bracket game in extra innings, and then went all the way through the loser's bracket, winning six straight elimination games, to reach the championship where they lost 2-0.

eteamz wants to see what you're all up to on the field, court, rink, water, whatever. Be a part of the eteamz SnapShotz program and send us your favorite sports photo. Click here to submit a photo.

Thanks for reading the June newsletter! Now that school is out, be sure to go outside and get active. That goes for adults and children. Don't sit in front of the TV all summer. Yes, movies and video games are ridiculously fun (and we all have to see Harry Potter), but the warm weather will be gone before you know it. Don't take it for granted. Set some new sports goals and go for it. Maybe try out a new sport or camp you've been considering.

    Until next time...
