Happy New Year eteamz Fans, OK, we have a new year to do things better, grow mentally and physically, and reach new goals. Radio and cell phone frequencies of the world are penetrated with sounds of "time to get that six pack" or "gotta lay off the chips and salsa". But, there always seems to come excuses about this time of the month. Just over a week into the new year, things start going downhill. Goals dim from our mind. Why? Because we're lazy and we like it! Simple. Just like the eteamz web site, everything is at the tip of our fingertips.

I was appalled to hear this week that U.S. is rated higher than 14 other countries in teen obesity. I don't even want to know the new rates for young children and adults. If more and more youth keep getting involved in sports, why is this happening? It's kind of a paradox. Is it due to lack of complete cardio workouts in sports these days? Are coaches and parents too lax on the kids...rather them play video games instead of play outside? Are the nation's laws and sport league rules getting in the way due to possible injury lawsuits?

I used to have intense workouts in junior high and high school. It prepared me for the game. Are we losing the ability to truly prepare youth for their sports. If so, what can we do about it? Click here to voice your opinion. Newsletter Menu

    Hello eteamz fans!

Have you checked out the new eteamz home page? Let me know what you think of it by taking my poll.

Are you looking for music to add to your site? We have a variety of sound files within the "eteamz Library" of sounds. You can add sound wherever you have an "Add Sound" button. For example, your Welcome and News folders. Once you click the "Add Sound" button, you will see a drop down list of the sounds we offer. If you don't find a sound file there you can upload your own. You can search on any major search engine such as Keep in mind that it's best to upload MIDI files as they're small in size. We also recommend keeping your sound files around 100K. The larger the sound file, the longer it will take for your members to download. You can also compress your sound files by using a compression program such as the two below.

For more information on uploading sounds please visit our FAQ page.

These are the top questions we receive throughout the year. I've made them our new "Hall of Fame Questions" and will include them in each newsletter.

    Stuck in a Moment
    Submitted by: Jim Blando

This photo of the Queen V's Soccer Team was shot last season in the heat of a divisional playoff. The Queen V's went on to win 5-3.

Note from the coach: "The ball just seemed to sit on her head forever."
