Hello eteamz Fans,

www.eteamz.com Does your sport need to evolve? No, I'm not talking "missing links" or years worth of change. I'm talking about moderately easy changes that you, your board, and players can discuss and implement to make your sport the best it can be.

Any of your rules in serious need of revising? Do you need new types of equipment or uniforms? Are you missing a useful player position? Perhaps you have too many player positions. Maybe you need to increase the point value of specific goals, special advanced moves, baskets, and hits (maybe 2 points for a home run).

There must be many thoughts going through the minds of team and league participants as the new seasons approach. With speed of light technology advances and needy consumers, you should write the sports apparel and equipment companies with your thoughts and opinions. They should be making products based on your needs, right? Just locate your favorite company online and send them a note. Not everything can be accomplished properly from focus groups. Click here to discuss with other eteamz members.

In regards to rules, I'll be getting a first hand look at this year's Little League Congress. Should be interesting to see the votes on new rules and rule changes. If you'll be attending the Congress this month, be sure to stop by the Active Team Sports/eteamz area. Click here for more information.

    eteamz Updates

epointz Contest Change - Attention All eteamz Members - The epointz contest has changed. There will still be 6 winners (3 Team sites, 3 League sites), but only one point pool. The new qualification pool is 50,000+ epointz. All 6 winners will be chosen from this pool and each will receive $250 in cash! This change has been implemented to make the contest fairer to everyone, especially those sites that really promote our web site and online registration services (these earn the highest epointz). Click here for new details.

EZ Mode - Attention eteamz PLUS Admins - EZ Mode is available for use within the Welcome Message and Article areas (when entering a Welcome Msg or News item in your Admin). Just click the link above the Welcome Message or Article text boxes to switch to EZ Mode. EZ Mode allows you to use cool text styles, set page placement, tables and more without knowing or using any special code or HTML! Click here for details.

Little League Finder is Live - Attention Little League Admins and Fans - Admins, if you haven't logged into your web site Admin section recently, please do so. You will be prompted to associate your site with your Region, District and League. The new organized finder, where visitors can search for teams and leagues by Region and District, is now available on the Little League Network. You now have 3 options to search for sites on the left menu (baseball site finder, LLB site finder, and League/District finder)! Click here to check it out now!

eteamz Domain Change Coming Soon - Attention ALL eteamz Members - Yes, this has been announced a few times. It will be coming soon and is important. In the upcoming weeks, you may notice that when you type www.eteamz.com in your browser, you end up at http://eteamz.active.com. Rest assured; the eteamz.com address, your eteamz web site address and your custom web address (domain name, if you have one) will function as usual. You DO NOT need to change anything. If you wish, you can use the new address, but your current eteamz site will continue to work as it does today. Why the change, you ask? This will help implement a universal login for Active.com and eteamz.com, and will pave the way for new integrated registration forms, fundraising programs and more, built right into your eteamz web site!

101 with Ericha 101 with Ericha

    Hello eteamz fans!

Congrats to all you UConn fans! 12% of you that took my poll last month thought that UConn would win.

We've received many questions from League sites regarding assigning Admins access to edit one team sub-site. I've talked about this in a past newsletter, but it deserves some attention again.

By default, the following folders are shared between the main site and sub-sites. Please keep this in mind if you don't completely trust one of your sub-site administrators.

Schedules - sub-site Admin can add/delete their division schedules
Games - sub-site Admin can add/edit their games only
Scores - sub-site Admin can add/edit scores for their games only
Practices - sub-site Admin can add/edit their practices only
    - Images, Sounds, Videos and Files

For example, if a team Admin were to remove a file from the Uploads folder, it would be completely removed from the site.

After you have chosen a sub-site Administrator you may restrict access to specific folders of the Team or League sub-site by clicking the edit icon located to the right of the Team/League Administrator name.

Look out...your site may be next.

I'm looking forward to seeing many of you LLB District Administrators at the LLB Congress in next week. Have your questions ready!
