Do you have the PLUS Ad Options feature on your site? If you don't, think twice. Many eteamz members have found it to be a great resource to raise money. For example, banner ad space can be offered to your local sponsors or companies interested in reaching your site visitors. Another effective way to use the Ad Options is to offer your team or league parents ad placement to congratulate or wish their child well on their birthday or in the next game. See example banner below. ![]() Check the "Add a Banner" link in the Web Site Help section of your Admin. You can create banners easily through many free or low priced banner maker products. Get Ad Options within the PLUS folder of your web site Admin. Save 10% with the coupon code: NSZW78 back to menu

![]() Happy April! I'm beginning to wonder if spring will ever truly arrive. It's snowing here in the North East. I feel bad for all you coaches that are playing outdoor sports. Click here to check out a Fastpitch Board discussion for some great ideas in bad weather. Below are some of the top site related questions we've received during the last month: How do I change my email address? I'm a League site Admin. How do I limit access to my team sub-sites? When assigning Team Admins you will see a list of Admin Access settings (click the edit icon to the right of the Admin name after assigning). These settings apply
to the specific Team sub-site. Remove the check mark in the boxes that you do not want the Admin to access. Keep in mind that some of the folders are shared between the main League site and Team sub-sites.
The shared folders are: Locations People Members Schedules (they have access to games, etc. in which their team plays) Seasons Teams Uploads As an example, if you don't want the Team Admin to have access to the Files section, you can keep Uploads checked (so they still have access to Images), but uncheck Files. You may want to send this list to your Team Admins so they know that some things they remove/edit affect the whole league. How do I compress images and sounds (reducing the file, so it takes less time to download)? Here are a couple links to some compression applications: www.spinwave.com/crunchers.html www.webattack.com/freeware/gmm/fwgcomp.shtm There are so many great sites out there; it was hard narrowing it down. Here are a few cool sites I came across: www.eteamz.com/thoroldlegionbaseball www.eteamz.com/bfhssoftball (check out the 'Think About It' section) www.eteamz.com/surfsoftball (Happy Easter, everyone!) www.eteamz.com/widistrict6 www.eteamz.com/bamaslammers (that trophy is almost as big as the girls!) Look out...your site may be next.
I received quite a few emails regarding images, and where to find them. A great resource is www.google.com. You can type in key words in the search field such as 'baseball gifs', 'animated soccer jpgs', and so on. If you have any suggestions for the next newsletter, send an email to: erichastips@eteamz.com. We really appreciate your business. It is because of your support that our business continues to grow and we are able to provide you with new tools, features and support. back to menu

![]() Baltimore Bays Gold www.eteamz.com/bfcfuego The Baltimore Bays Gold Under-10 Girls soccer team captured the National Indoor Soccer Championship in competition against fifteen other teams from across the country on February 8 and 9 at the Soccer First arena in Dublin, Ohio. Maurice Boylan, Girls Varsity Coach at McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Maryland, coaches the nine, ten, and fourteen-year-old girls teams. Playing a total of six games in two days (with a 6:00 a.m. game time each morning, requiring a 4:30 a.m. wake-up time), they competed in the final game against last year's Under-9 Champions, the Michigan Gators, beating the Gators 2-1 in sudden death, '3 vs. 3' overtime. The girls, who have been playing together since 1999, received medals marking the accomplishment. The team plays together eleven months of the year, taking off only for the month of July when their coach vacations. back to menu Everyone feel free to chat about the Gold or any related topic on the Soccer message boards. Send me a photo and description of your team, league or individual all-star. I'm looking for all-stars to highlight in upcoming newsletters. If I choose your team, league or individual all-star, I'll publish your information in the newsletter and give your web site eteamz PLUS free for a year. Send your photo, description and web site address to all-stars@eteamz.com. I wish you all fun and safe competition this spring. Be sure to practice good sportsmanship. I encourage you to find one flaw that you can improve. Until next time... ![]() Rob Costlow Community Manager Active Team Sports www.activeteamsports.com |
