Monday, June 23 Volunteers -- Think About Next Season NOW! York Little League had a great season thanks to all the volunteers. We'd like you to keep in mind that there will continue to be many opportunities to contribute to the fun and success of the League. In November the Board will have its annual meeting and new board members will be elected. If you would like to consider joining the board or any of the various committees that are the engine of the organization, please feel free to contact any board member. Thanks again for your enthusiasm! Tuesday, February 5 Volunteers Needed York Little League is also looking for volunteers to help with a number of duties throughout the coming season. Please consider giving some of your time to make this a great season for the children. The following are a list of volunteer opportunities: Opending Day Fundraiser Dance Championship Saturday & End of Season Picnic Concession Committee Managers/Coaches Umpires Public Relations Field preparation & Work Days Future Board Openings and Committee Heads Team Parents In accordance with Little League policy, York LL will be conducting background checks on all individuals having on-field or extensive off-field contact with children in the league. Please refer to the Little League Child Protection Program on the Little League website for more information. See Handout section below and complete the volunteer application.
