Yorba Linda Basketball: High School Boys

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS DIVISIONS

The High School Boys Division is a popular division.  The overwhelming verdict is that everyone had a great time.

The High School Boys Division is split into two separate divisions:  Frosh/Soph and Open.

The Frosh/Soph Division is for boys, grades 9 or 10 only.  This division is intended for those freshmen and sophomores who prefer to play recreationally against other freshmen/sophomores.

The Open Division is for boys, grades 9, 10, 11 or 12.  This division is intended for Seniors, Juniors, as well as those Sophomores and Freshman who prefer a more competitive basketball experience and have the skill to play in this environment.

The Board of Directors maintains the right to adjust a player's division before or after evaluations, after contact with the player, to maintain the competitive balance within each division.
We also have the right to combine players into one division if registration numbers do not support separate divisions.

Typically, High School Boys games are played on Sundays at Esperanza High School.  This enables the most players to be involved in our program without impacting other high school sports or activities that they may be committed to.
