The start of the 2016 Little League season is right around the corner and Yoakum Little League will hold FOUR registrations during the month of January and the First Thursday in February at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall (see below or the news section for more information).

Monday, January 25
The Yoakum Little League has announced its registration dates for the 2016 season. All registrations will take place at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall located at 202 Dunn Street.
Saturday, Jan. 23: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Thursday, Jan 28: 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 30: 9:00 am -1:00 pm
Thursday Feb. 4: 5:30p.m. - 8:00 pm
Registration fee will be $45 per player, with discounts for additional children. A copy of each child's birth certificate will be needed at registration.

There will be a coaches meeting on Monday February 8, 2016 at 6:00 at First Baptis Church Fellowship Hall.
****Try-outs are scheduled for Sunday, February 21, 2016 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the City Park Baseball Fields. T-Ball (5 yr olds) and the machine pitch divisions (6-7 yr olds) do not try out. 11/12 yr olds boys will need to tryout this year even if they played last year.
Opening Ceremonies are scheduled for Saturday, April 2, 2016 beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the City Park Baseball Fields. There will be games at different times throughout the day for all levels beginning at 1:00pm.
An important source of income is our concession stand. For this to succeed, the cooperation of every Yoakum Little League parent is needed. Every family must help when asked in order for this important undertaking to work efficiently. A family member, age 13 or older, is required to participate in one (1) shift (per player) as a concession stand volunteer. You are responsible to show up and stay for your entire shift to fulfill your concession stand obligation.
*Those parents not wanting to work in the concession stand may opt out at the time of registration. This requires an additional $20 fee per player, to be paid at registration.
