These summer leagues are not affiliated with the YGSBL, but are simply posted to keep league teams informed of additional playing opportunities.

The 2008/2009 YGSBL season was another extremely successful one.
Thanks to the site managers at Waukesha South and Waukesha West that volunteer their time so the league runs smoothly.
A big shout out to all the Coaches that give their time and energy for the betterment of the girls. Coaching can be a "thankless" task but your efforts are truly appreciated.

WE WILL BE BACK FOR THE 2009/2010 SEASON
LEAGUE FEES WILL BE $795.00 PER TEAM
It is becoming increasingly complex to schedule gym time time and secure referees therefore any and all games that are rescheduled by a team/coach will pay a fee to the league.
This may also impact the team and or school affiliation continued participation in the league.
Only schedule tournaments when it does not conflict with the league schedule.

The YGSBL-LCGBA basketball league is an organization directed to promoting youth girls' basketball as a developmental training opportunity for 5th through 8th grade girls. Further, it is designed to be directly connected to the residential high school that each team would feed. All teams MUST have a direct relationship with a high school program based upon residence and/or school choice intent of the team makeup.
Teams desiring to play in the YGSBL-LCGBA in Waukesha County should download the "Application, Rules & Medical Release" forms located in the "Handouts" page from the menu on the left side of this page.

The YGSBL will continue to field a 64 team setup (16 teams per grade level; 5-8) and an unlimited number of teams (5-8) in the LCGBA group.
Assignment to groups/schools will be based, as in the past, upon past participation and availablity in the league.
In the registration process you will be asked to include information related to the high school affiliate and coaches contact information.
