Our goal is to have a quality basketball program where the kids advance their athletic skills, respect each other, respect their opponents, pursue their love of the game and are a contender whenever and wherever they play, now and in the future. Each player on the Yellow Jackets will learn to become, leaders, tough, disciplined and confident, regardless of their skill or physical limitations.
A championship team, is more than a collection of five good individual players. It requires a collection of teammates, who work hard together, who respect, help and encourage each other, who have a common goal, mindset and spirit, and yet who all realize their individual roles and importance to the team. - unknown

AAU National Championship - Final Results
The Yellow Jackets place in the top 32 in the 2004 AAU 13U National Championship. We won 4 and lost 2. Unfortunately, the 2 games we lost were deciding games and with both games, we had a double digit lead until the end. The team that beat us in our last game ended up placing 8th overall. The experience was good. We know what we need to work on to improve and to prepare for next year. As a first year team in AAU Nationals, placing in the top 32 was an achievement in itself. We won our pool, stayed in the National race, did not get blown out by any team and did not drop into the Classic.
