Official Home of YBOA Alabama - Boys and Girls
Youth Basketball of America, the premier youth membership organization in the sport of basketball, strives to provide opportunities for personal growth and development of youth athletes while also reinforcing positive influences, self-confidence, self-esteem and the ability to excel on and off the court. Through participation, YBOA is dedicated to educate and motivate each member while encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship and fun through the spirit of basketball.

A huge THANK YOU goes to everyone that played YBOA in 2009. We know you have a choice when you play and we are going to continue to put the YOUTH first in all our events!
You proved that YBOA is the place to play!
We are looking forward to a great 2010, but before we move ahead let's look at some very impressive highlights from 2009....
1. Boys State Championship had over 80 teams, 3 other tournaments had 50+ teams.
2. Super Regional included teams from 5 different states.
3. Division 1 and 2 in three different tournaments. This gives Teams of all levels a chance to be competitive.
4. 2nd Annual Gulf Shores sold out 2 months in advance & was featured on local news each night.
5. We had over 14 teams from Alabama participate at YBOA Nationals, some winning the Championship, some runner ups and a lot of player recogonition. See Tab for results!
