There's no better way to describe our 2002 ten year old baseball season as the YBBR Yankees other than the way Bachelor Bob from the TV Bachelor Show would "Amazing". Especially when you consider this was a true school based team where 10 out of 11 roster players all attended the same STM school. What's also pretty amazing is that eight of these boys played on the same 9 year old YBBR baseball team that won only 4 games all season.
At the end of 2002 the Yankees win/loss record stood at 49-10-2. Winning 4 tournament championships while finishing runnerup in 3 others. Ending the season with a perfect 6-0 record at the USSSA Nationals earning the Yankees a prestigious #1 National & State Ranking in the "AA" division and a 15th National ranking among all USSSA 10 year old baseball teams nationwide including Major & "AAA" teams.

Our 11 year old season as the 2003 YBBR Mets again surpassed everyone's expectations. Finishing the season with an unbelievable 30-20 record against the best teams in YBBR, the State and around the nation. The 11 year old Mets not only earned a spot in YBBR's upper 12U division, they competed as well. Ending the 2003 YBBR season as the 3rd best team in the league while posting an impressive 9-1 league record versus the other 11 year old YBBR teams.
The Mets finished their regular season as Louisiana's #1 ranked USSSA "AAA" team and went on to play in their first post season play outside the State. Concluding the 2003 season with a dramatic win over a very good "Major" team at the NABF World Classic in Southaven, MS.
