Official Website of the YBBR Mets
Since founded in 2002, the YBBR Mets have been a leading force in Youth Baseball Baton Rouge (YBBR) League and in tournament play throughout the Gulf States Region. In their final YBBR season together, the twelve year old version of the Mets faced a challenging 64 game schedule that included 45 different opponents from Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Illinois. Although the competition was tough, the YBBR Mets posted yet another exciting 40 plus win season in 2004, raising the team's final overall three year record to an impressive 120-54-2.
Special thanks to all Met parents for their support over the years. No question it's been one of the strengths of the team. As coaches, we truly enjoyed the chance to be part of your son's little league baseball experience. Best wishes and continued success to all our Mets next season and beyond.

2004 USSSA State Championship was postponed due to wet weather conditions. Unfortunately, the Mets were unable to participate in the rescheduled State Tournament held on July 3-4th.
July 17-24th - Mets concluded their 2004 baseball campaign at the Super Series 12U American Division National Championship in Collierville, TN.
