Talladega Update-
And Talladega is full. That really sucks for everyone who didn't register. Check the word document below for complete schueles. At 12 P.M on Saturday August 5th the biggest yardball tournoment in history will begin. In Bracket A will be: The West Bloomfield School of Wiffle Ball, Laguna Beech; The Real Taco Bell All-Stars, Farmington Hills A, and Bloomfield Hills. Bracket A will play out at lovely Debenedictus Memorial Stadium. Bracket B will consist of North Farmington, TET, The North A, and the North B. This bracket will be played out at some hick field in North West Bloomfield. Full details and schuele to be released tonight.

Yardball is more than a game. A self-organized, self-created non profit organization. It all started in the summer of 1998 with 2 third graders Ben Weiner and Xander Strek. Yardball has grown from a recreational 1 on 1 game of wiffle ball using baseball rules with a few exceptions (see rules) to 1 on 1 using the same pitcher, to the more competitive 2 on 2. Yardball has always been played in the backyard of a house, which has been turned almost into a stadium.

Yardball was a league for the first time last year, complete with 4 teams. Yardball ha snow grown to 11 teams this season. This all sticks to the 2 year plan, which is to have a Kenny Mayne special dedicated to yardball on sportscenter. Let the games begin
