We are located in Wallingford, Connecticut. We offer youths ages 5 through 16 the opportunity to have fun and learn the game of baseball. Yalesville Little League draws players from the West Side of Wallingford (Rte 15 is the boundry line).

The Yalesville Little League Board of Directors has voted 15 to 2 to reduce the number of players elected to the District 5 Majors All Star teams from 14 players to 12 players. This change will take effect with the 2012 Little League Post Season Tournaments.
This change to the All Star selection procedure is a result of the contraction of two teams at the Majors level and the reduced number of children playing baseball in our league.
The new procedure will have the Majors players elect nine (9) players, and the managers and coaches will elect two (2) players. The team manager will select one player from the next five (5) players on the list.
This change will effect the 9/10 Majors, 10/11 Majors, and the 11/12 Majors. Currently all other post season team rosters; District 4 Seabreeze, and 9/10 AAA, will remain at 14.

Monday, May 7
Yalesville Little League is hosting a dinner/dance for the parents and friends of the league on June 2nd at Zandri's Stillwood Inn. The event will start at 7:30PM and run until midnight and will feature the music of Local Motion. Tickets are $50 per person and include a full buffet and open bar. This fundraiser is to compensate for the funds which were used on the beautiful renovation that was done to the inside of our concession stand. It will be a fun night out for parents that will also benefit the league. Tickets can be purchased at the concession stand.
Wednesday, January 4
A new Yalesville Little League mailing list has been created to keep parents updated on all events concerning the league. The mailing list is a vital tool that will be used to inform of Registration, Evaluations, Opening Day, Photo Day, etc. Most importantly, the mailing list will inform everyone of all rainouts as soon as they are announced, skipping the giant phone chain, and saving people valuable time. Aside from rain out notifications, there will only be a few emails letting the Yalesville Little League family aware of upcoming events. All emails will come from "Webmaster" at YalesvilleLL@gmail.com, so those who have a tough spam protector should make sure to add that email address to their contacts.

Our league is looking for parents to volunteer in the concession stand for the upcoming season. If you are interested in joining the Parent Auxiliary, please contact Susan Kolakowski (slkolakowski@sbcglobal.net).

Show your support for Yalesville Little League by purchasing league merchandise which includes t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, windbreakers, water bottles, magnets and rubber bracelets. Merchandise will be sold on March 11th at Choate Rosemary Hall fieldhouse during the 8-12 year old evaluations, Dick's Sporting Goods for Yalesville Day on March 25th and at the concession stand when the season begins. The order form can be found online, with all checks being written to "YLL".
