WAUKEGAN YOUTH WRESTLING CLUB

We place a strong emphasis on ACADEMICS, SELF-DISCIPLINE,

SELF-ESTEEM, CONDITIONING and GOAL SETTING - inside as well as outside the wrestling room.  

WE SERVE all levels of young wrestlers from beginners through state champions.

Below are answers to some of the more frequent questions. I know you all will have a great experience!!  

Will walk-ups be accepted day of the tournament? Yes, until 8:00 A.M. 

Will there be Illinois certified officials? Yes

Will there be an open division? Yes, one extra division 19 and over

Is a USA or AAU card required? No

Can I register at the door? We will allow at the door registration until weigh -ins are over or we reach maximum capacity.

Will Champions receive bracket boards? Yes, along with a trophy or Championship Medal which ever the athlete prefers.

Will there be outstanding Wrestler awards? Yes, they will be one given for each division.

Do we need to pre-register our team? No, you will need to fill out a form and get some direction as how to fill out your scoring for your team. It would be easier to get form and info. through an e-mail prior to the tournament but not necessary.

Do I need a consent form signed by a parent in order to wrestle? Yes, All minors need a signed consent form.

How many people can I have with me when I wrestle? 2 coaches on the main floor and must leave main floor once their bracket has wrestled. 

Come register for spring wrestling learn Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco!! Print form from website and take it to wrestling room with copy of birth certificate and payment.

Where: Wrestling room upper grade center

Time: 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. 

Cost: $100 (includes registration fee to our tournament and year end celebration trophy)

Duration: April 7, 2009 - June 7, 2009
