IFHCK aim to maintain club pre-eminent position in elite hockey, a national leader in our approach to the game and the results we achieve. We also aim to make field hockey the ‘game for everyone with passion, desire and commitment’ – a sport that is accessible and enjoyable.
Our Mission
Achieving this vision will require the collective efforts of the local field hockey community. This community includes the parents, local coaches, business community, many volunteers within ifhck program. All members of the community have a part to play.
For its part, IFHCK mission will be:
"To encourage, promote, develop and administer hockey at all levels in order to maintain ifhck field hockey as a national club leader. This will be done through managing IFHCK high performance programs and maximizing participation, enjoyment and community profile"
The vision for field hockey and its strategic direction has been developed by the IFHCK Board and coaches.
Our Formation
IFHCK field hockey exists to provide Kentucky players with the opportunity to play hockey from junior levels through elite competition, including the National level showcase. It is responsible for delivering these benefits to IFHCK field hockey players through its winter, spring & summer programs and ensuring field hockey in Kentucky achieves consistent success, a strong positive public profile and continuing player and spectator support at all levels.
