ROCKIES Battle Lugnuts to 6-6 Tie
The Rockies met the Lugnuts at the spacious William B. Farrell Baseball Complex for a crucial Sunday morning game with second place in the American Division hanging in the balance. Both teams entered the game tied at 7-8 and when the dust cleared they remained tied at 7-8-1 with a 6-6 score. Darryll Natalie (9IP, 11hits, 6 K's, 6 runs) went the distance for the Lugnuts. Evan Bickel (7 IP, 5 K's, 9 hits, 5 runs) started for the Rockies. Dave Schumacher (2 IP, 2hits, 3K's 1 runn) closed for the Rockies.
