The Rochester Rockies downwd the Red Wings 12-3 in a Sunday morning game played at Spencerport. Evan Bickel (7 IP, 5 hits , 6 K's) got the win for the Rockies in a game that they controlled from the start scoring twice in the first inning, then tacking on single runs in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th,  two in the 6th and four in 7th to build an 11-0 lead before the Wings could get on the board with 2 runs in the 7th to keep the game alive.
