In the D W Wildcats programs we teach our student-athlete the art of having a team meeting before and after games. Come to practice and be on time, work with other on ball handling, passing, shooting and teamwork, and having a good attitudes. We belienve the best way to make sure we are a positive influence on the young poeple we work with, is to treat them as we would treat our own children. It's my wish that all of our coaches approach every season with that same attitude. If we do, we will not lose. But it's the values we instill in young people through the vehicle of athletic, that will continue to be a positive influence long after we've named our last starting line up. After all, the real game is the game of life, and it's the one game we cannot afford to lose.
