Prospect Park Runs Prospect Park
PPYRC gets set to run the Brooklyn PTA 5k in their backyard, Prospect Park.
53 PPYRC athletes run the race as new club records were set by
Toby, Keiana, Sydney, Owen, Marie, and Ella F. (see Outdoor Records).
Many of our parents joined in on the fun and raced their children.
PPYRC gals, Keiandra, Macy, and Marley show some team love before the race.

Chase holds his hands high after winning the Sub Bantam Boys 800m title.

PPYRC at Millrose Games
Congrats to Brandon C, Peyton, Kyron, Ben, Breanna, Keiana, Macy, and Sage for helping PPYRC keep our qualifying streak alive. This is the 3rd year in a row that PPYRC has qualified for the Games. Sophia also qualified for the 55m Fastest Kid on the Block race! Great Job!

Historic Day for PPYRC at
USATF Cross Country Nationals
Prospect Park XC Runners grab 10 medals at National Championship, including a 2nd Place Tie in the Bantam Boys. Owen, Sophia, Toby, and Parker also climb the podium with individual medal honors.
PPYRC Bantam Boys take the stage as they tie the Indiana All Star Team. New Mexico wins. PPYRC gets the bronze on the tie breaker rule. Demian, Merlin, Isaac, Ethan, Toby, and Parker (not shown...already on his way to the airport) are awarded the medals and crystal plaque.
Sophia and her proud dad are all smiles as she is the FIRST PPYRC GIRL to ever reach the podium at the USATF Cross Country Nationals.
Sophia finished 18th.
Owen is set to take the stage after he grabs a medal for an outstanding 15th Place finish.
Owen ran an outstanding 8:00 over the rolling 2k course.
Brooklyn's best enjoy some barefooted strides in the sun and sand on the beaches of South Carolina.
The future is bright for Prospect Park as an outstanding Sub-Bantam, Bantam, and Midget
squad end an amazing championship season with medals and wins at the local, regional, and national levels.

PPYRC Heads to Nationals
in South Carolina and Florida
In Queensbury, Keiana and Sydney en route to qualifying for the
USATF National Championship to be held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on December 3
Rookies Toby and Parker are outstanding performers as they help bantam boys win the
USATF Regional Championship and advance to the Nationals.

Prospect Park wins Bantam Boys and Sub-Bantam Girls Regional Titles in Queensbury. Sophia wins individual Sub-Bantam girls title. Nationals, here we come!
Sophia wins the Sub-Bantam 2011 USATF Regional Cross Country Championship
Demian helps lead our bantam boys to the Regional title.
Not be outdone by the bantam boys, Gilliam chooses the right day to have the best race of her
life and help the bantam girls to a second place finish at the USATF Regionals.
The bantam girls advanced to the Nationals
Sage is our top bantam girls finisher as she shows that she can run with the best!
Congratulations to the entire PPYRC team for a great showing at the USATF Region 1 Championship. In all, PPYRC won two age division, 1 individual title and qualified 4 age division and 21 individuals for the USATF National Championship in South Carolina.

USATF REGIONALS, HERE WE COME!
Ethan will lead a well balanced bantam boys into the USATF Region 1
Championship in Queensbury. In all 48 PPYRC athletes will compete for a spot
in the USATF National Championships.
Brandon will lead our youth boys charge.
First year runners, Toby and Parker are challenging some of the best
runners on the East coast.

Shedrick and Klarke competed at the AAU Area 10 National Qualifier at Illinois State University and Brandon C. and Brandon M. competed at the USATF Regionals in Troy, NY. Here are the results of their trips:
