The WVUSC U12 boys posted an impressive 1-1-2 record in the top premier bracket (8 v. 8) at the 2008 Virginian Memorial Day Tournament in Herdon, VA. On Saturday, the team began the tournament with a hard fought 3-3 tie against the CSA Sonics of Calvert County, Virginia.  In their second game of the day, the team lost to the CLS Junkyard Dogs Academy of Virginia Beach, Virginia.  On Sunday, the team started the day with a 1-1 tie against the McLean Titans White of McClean, Virginia.  The team finished the tournament with an impressive 3-2 victory against the PWSI Courage (a game in which the team was down 2-0 at the half). 

The WVSUC U12 Boys placed runner-up in the 2008 WV State Championship, and will be advancing to the USYSA Region 1 Championship in Portland, Maine, June 26-July 1, 2008.  Players on this year's team include:  Cody Bland, Nathan Bolles, Andrew Cranston, Connor Fitz, Jacob Hart, Dylan Leary, Tommy Logston, Andres Saenz, Jacob Smith, Vibhu Someshwar and Eric Tennant.  The team is coached by Ray Petrisin.

The WV United U11 Boys posted a 4-0 undefeated record to win the 2007 Euclid Memorial Day Tournament, held in Euclid, Ohio, May 25 and 27, 2007.  The team posted victories against the North Canton Soccer Club (10-1), Euclid Strikers (6-1), A. G. Tigers and Euclid Strikers (3-1) to win the Championship.
