Approved by consensus of District 9 Staff and Elected 2010 League Presidents in office as of the October 13, 2009 Meeting, these mandatory rules are in place to provide consistency and alleviate confusion and many questions when playing at ANY level/division during in-league, inter-league, and Special Games across the entirety of Oregon District 9 Little League Baseball and Softball.
It is imperative that all participants and spectators focus on the fact that this is a Kids Game, Played by the Kids - remembering that any adults participating on the field are merely there to instruct, help the kids have fun, and help keep them safe, and that all adults are there to cheer on every player.
" 50 years from now, it won't matter who struck out, hit a home run or dropped a fly ball in a Little League game, but the world will be a better place because YOU took the time to make a positive difference in the life of at least One Child .... !"
