I’m sure you’ll agree that in today’s world, positive, character-building organizations for our youth are falling by the way side. Budget cuts and other negative influences have made it difficult for children to find something positive in their life. The Willamette Valley Little League Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation for you to participate in a program that has proven to be a positive influence to children all over the world since 1939 - Little League Baseball.

Through Little League, our children develop and appreciate the need for teamwork, sportsmanship and unselfish cooperation - disciplines to be treasured for a lifetime. Our commitment is to provide our children an affordable opportunity to experience competitive sports, which teaches the knowledge of baseball and passes on the love of the game. We accomplish this through effective practices, more scheduled games, high safety standards, quality coaching, certified umpires, and an awesome staff of volunteers, committed to being positive role models to our children.

To get this year headed in the right direction, you can help through our Little League Sponsorship Program. Last year, the number of boys and girls participating in Little League in our area more than doubled over prior year. This year we are anticipating participation to rise again. Your tax-deductible contribution (Federal Tax ID# 11-3704436) will help us provide a quality program and scholarships to children who otherwise would not be able to participate.

There are several levels of sponsorship available, each level coming with its own set of valuable benefits for the sponsor. From strategic advertising on our website, to teams named after your company plus much more — Willamette Valley League Little has a sponsorship plan that’s a perfect fit.

SPONSORSHIP LEVELS

Player Sponsor – Donation request: $150

Little League International and Willamette Valley Little League will not turn away players who are unable to pay registration fees to participate. By sponsoring players, you will help the league bear the equipment and uniform expenses for kids who deserve to play but cannot otherwise afford to participate.

Crackerjack Sponsor – Donation request: $500

Crackerjack is a baseball term used to describe a first-rate or spectacular player or team. Crackerjack sponsorship will represent the grassroots support of the Little League Program. As a Crackerjack sponsor, you will be associated with an individual team in the program. It’s at the Board of Directors discretion as to what team you will be assigned. As a Crackerjack sponsor, you will be recognized as a major contributor to your team in the following ways:

Ø       Your business name/logo with an interactive link on your team’s web page that allows visitors to jump directly to your website.

Ø       Your business name/logo, address, phone, hours of operation and a brief description of services on the sponsorship page of WVLL’s website with an interactive link to your website.

Ø       Your business name on the back of your team’s jerseys.

Ø       League printed materials will list you as the sponsor of your specific team, i.e. Beehive Rentals Braves.

Ø       A Thank You plaque with your team’s photo honoring you for being a Crackerjack sponsor.

Ø       A display advertisement in the Manager’s and Coach’s league handbook.

Ø       Official announcement of your sponsorship at the mid-season fundraiser/100 Inning Day.

Ø       A banner with your name/logo will be displayed at each game your team plays.

All-Star Sponsor – Donation request: $750

WVLL anticipates sending at least three teams, AAA, Majors and Juniors into All-Star tournaments that begin immediately after the regular season concludes. Sponsorship of these teams is vital to their ability to participate. As an All-Star Sponsor, you will be recognized as a major contributor in all the ways listed for Crackerjack sponsorship as well as:

Ø       Your name/logo will appear in all printed All-Star advertising materials.

Ø       Your name/logo will appear on an All-Star banner to be displayed at tournaments.

Ø       Your name/logo will be printed on All-Star shirts and/or jackets.

Ø       The Board will select a Thank You gift in appreciation of your sponsorship.

League Sponsor – Donation request: $1000

WVLL uses this sponsorship level to support one team, maintain fields, purchase new equipment and cover administrative costs. You will be recognized as a major contributor in all the ways listed above for both Crackerjack and All-Star sponsorships. As a tremendously important sponsor to our league, any opportunity WVLL has to help promote your business that fits within Little League International guidelines would be considered in exchange for your sponsorship.

Should you choose not to participate in the abovementioned sponsorship levels, Willamette Valley Little League is open to discussing various options, i.e. smaller monetary contributions, or services-in-kind. WVLL needs your support for the children of our community and any donation or contribution will gladly be accepted and put to important use.
