IMPORTANT NEW BAT RULES FOR 2009 SEASON!
All baseball and softball bats used in Willamette Valley Little League practices and games must have one of the following printed on the bat:
The Bat Performance Factor (BPF) Rating, not exceeding 1.15 BPF.
OR
It must state "Approved by Little League."
Official rules state that for 2009, only bats with the BPF rating printed on the bat (no stickers) not exceeding 1.15 BPF will be allowed, but for this year, we are allowing a "phase out" of bats without the BPF printed, as long as the bats say Little League Approved.
Willamette Valley Little League's 2009 season -
Hello All,
Little League is run entirely by gracious volunteers who donate their time and energy to help put each season together for all of our children. Any assistance is appreciated - even if its only an hour of your time. Remember: If you will be spending any time in direct contact with the players in any way, a Volunteer Form must be completed, a government-issue photo i.d. viewed (preferring a photocopy copy with the Volunteer Form), and we are requried to run a background/sex offender registry check prior to your being with the kids.
This site and the NEW Business Telephone Line will be updated with current information.
or by phone at (541) 747-9774
Thank you,
President WVLL
