DIVE PROGRAM!
PHILOSOPHY
The West Virginia Aquatics Diving Program is designed to teach and develop all diving safety and fundamentals to all athletes starting from the most basic to more competitive levels. In addition to learning the sport of diving we here at WVA provide a positive environment for kids to become part of a team where new friends can be made. Diving is a sport where athletes can strive for personal excellence or simply just come and have fun.
THE SPORT OF DIVING
Diving is an exciting and artistic sport, which combines the acrobatics of gymnastics or action sports, like snowboarding, with the grace and fluidity of dance and martial arts. From the fun of jumping off 1 meter and 3 meter high diving boards, diving offers a wide range of challenges that are always exciting and never dull.
The West Virginia Aquatics Diving program introduces individuals to the ABC’s of athleticism as well as important social development skills. Diving encourages and develops agility, balance, coordination, listening skills, and most importantly, self-esteem. Parents will appreciate that diving serves as a forum to provide an active start to athletics, while kids will simply love how much fun they can have at the pool.

LEARN TO DIVE (ages 5-17 with no diving experience)
Monday: 4:00-5:00
$30/month
COMPETITIVE (ages 10-17 with diving, high school, or gymnastics experience)
Saturday: 11:00-12:15
$40/month
**If numbers permit additional classes will be added.
