WVA Barracudas: Welcome

It's that time of year again!  We are happy to announce a little more FUN in the event this year.  Hope it will raise our team participation in the actual event and encourage great fund-raising for the team.  You will see in the event form how important fund-raising is to the team.

Wednesday, 2/22,  5:00-7:00 p.m. for ALL groups

WHERE is the event?

Our home, the WVU Natatorium!!

All Barracuda swimmers

HOW do we participate?

Use Cuda-thon forms to gather sponsors and show up on 2/22

WHAT will we do for the event?

Swimmers will swim as many laps as they can during the two hour window.  We appreciate parent helpers to count for their children.  We will have lap interval prizes this year so accurate counting is especially important!!  See the reverse side of this flyer for lap interval prizes as well as guidelines for each group.

We will have an ICE CREAM SOCIAL at 7 p.m. for ALL PARTICIPANTS (and parent counters!!)....because who couldn't use a little ice cream in their lives?!?  Please join us...it's GOING TO BE WILD!!

GOAL SUGGESTIONS FOR EACH GROUP:

CUDAS (6 and under): 24 laps (awards at 3 lap intervals)

CUDAS (8 and up): 40 laps (awards at 5 lap intervals)

AGE GROUPERS (10 and under): 80 laps (awards at 10 lap intervals)

AGE GROUPERS (11 and up): 120 laps (awards at 15 lap intervals)

SENIOR I and II (all ages):  200 laps (awards at 25 lap intervals)
