 We welcome you to the 2012 online registration - click link above!  Registration can also be done in person at the Washington Township Parks and Rec office in the Municipal Building on Egg Harbor Rd.   LET'S PLAY BALL!!!

The BARN Calendar

Click on the link to view the schedule for the training facility.  To schedule time in the Barn, please email your request to softballschedule@comcast.net  You need to wait and receive confirmation that the time is approved prior to having your practice.  Thank you.

The public is welcome to join us at our bi-monthly meetings, located in the Softball House ("Barn") on the dates listed below.  Meeting times are 7:15 pm arrival with a 7:30 pm start time.  We hope to see you there!!

Hey, folks, it's only a game

A large number of kids quit youth sports by age 13. Kids tend to give the same two reasons: Negative coaches. Negative parents. 10 things kids (and coaches) would like to tell their parents Don't yell out instructions. Don't put down the officials. Don't yell at me in public. Don't yell at the coach. Don't put down my teammates. Don't put down the other team. Don't lose your cool. Don't lecture me about mistakes after the game. Don't forget how to laugh and have fun. Don't forget it's just a game. Be a good sport and support everybody's Kids

Mission Statement excerpt

The primary objective of the Washington Twp Softball Program (WTSP) shall be to bestow on the youth of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and reverence. The objective will be achieved by providing a supervised softball program. The attainment of exceptional skill or winning of games shall be secondary to the prime goal of molding ethical adults.
