---DRAFT UPDATE---

Draft Week (Nov. 30 - Dec. 3)

Below is the FINAL schedule for "Draft Week," including dates, times and locations by divisions.  We must receive player registrations before the day of the draft.  This will help the division commssioners and the board properly plan for the drafts so they can be run efficiently and smoothly.  As such, players will be allowed to register - either on-line or in-person - up and until November 30.  After that, WTBA will only accept late and/or draft day registrations where exceptional circumstances exist. As for the actual drafts, the player must attend at least ONE of the respective days but is encouraged to attend both.   

Girls

  • Division 1 (age 5)  - there is no draft for this division.  You will be notified by December 4, 2009 of your start date.
  • Division 2 (ages 6/7) - Tues, Dec. 1; 7 - 8 pm - School 5 (this is not a draft but the players will be placed on teams and assigned coaches) 
  • All other Divisions (Div. 3 - 6) - Monday, Nov. 30; 7 pm - 9 pm - Middle School (there will be a parent meeting followed by separating the girls out according to age groups and then the drafts)  

Boys

  • Division 1 (age 5)  - there is no draft for this division.  You will be notified by December 4, 2009 of your start date.
  • Division 2 (ages 6/7) - Tues, Dec. 1; 7 - 8 pm - School 5 (this is not a draft but the players will be placed on teams and assigned coaches)
  • Division 3 (ages 8/9) - Mon., Nov. 30 and Wedn., Dec. 2 ; 7 pm - 9 pm - School 5  
  • Division 4 (ages 10/11) - Mon., Nov. 30 and Wedn., Dec. 2 ; 7 pm - 9 pm - School 6 
  • Division 5 (ages 12/13) - Wedn., Dec. 2 and Thurs. Dec. 3; 7 pm - 9 pm - MS 
  • Division 6 (ages 14+) - Tues., Dec. 1; 7 pm - 9 pm - MS 

 TRAVEL TEAM DRAFT DATES 

Boys

  • Travel - 5th/6th Grade - November 24; 7 pm - 9 pm - MS Gym
  • Travel - 7th/8th Grade - November 24; 7 pm - 9 pm - MS Gym

Girls

  • Travel 5th/6th Grade - November 23; 7 pm - 9 pm; MS Gym
  • Travel 7th/8th Grade - November 23; 7 pm - 9 pm; MS Gym

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION DATES  
  • Wednesdays from Oct. 21 - Nov. 18 at Donio Park (behind the ShopRite on Cross-Keys Rd.) from 6:30 - 8 pm. Please go to the concession stand and ask for Neki. 
  • Monday, November 23 from 7 - 9 pm at Winslow Middle School
  • Tuesday, November 24 from 7 - 9 pm at Winslow Middle School

Registration Fees

  • Ages 9 and under - $75
  • Ages 10 and up - $90
  • Travel - $140

NEXT BOARD MEETING

  • Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 7:00 pm at the South County Library. This is a required meeting for all coaches and commissioners.
