Directions to the new WSRSA Soccer Complex:
For fields 1-5 use the West Lot off of 3rd Street SE. From Hwy 218 turn East on 8th Ave. SW, turn left on Crestwood Ave., then turn right on 3rd St. SE.
For fields 6-9 use the East Lot off of 8th Street SE. From Hwy 218 turn East on 29th Ave. SW, left on 11th St. SE, left on 17th Ave. SE, right on 8th St. SE. (We ask all buses to please park in this lot.)

Our Waverly community now has our own web-pages on the Cedar Valley Youth Soccer Association site: www.cvysaonline.org (Click on communities, and select our page.)
You can visit this site for additional community information and to see whether the WSR Soccer Complex is open or closed.

WSRSA Complex - Mowing Help Needed
Volunteers are needed to help mow the WSRSA Soccer Complex on a weekly basis, as well as on a temporary or "fill in" basis. We provide the riding mowers, the gas, and the instruction. If you are interested, please call Stuart Kelly at 319-352-0772 for more information or to volunteer.
Coaching Materials Available
We have a limited supply of coaching manuals available for U-8 and U-10 coaches.

Fall 2007 Season Info - Important Dates
There will be two educational events for coaches this year: Tuesday, August 7th at 6:00 PM and Friday, August 17th (Goal Keeping Coaching Education) at 6:00 PM. Both will be held at the complex. Some of the best coaches in the area will be presenting and handouts will be available.
Thursday, August 16th - Fall Coaches Business Meeting at the Waverly Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Team packets will be handed out and practice times will be drawn for. All teams must be represented by either the head coach or assistant. Attendance is required!
Thursday August 21st - Annual Parent's Meeting at the Jr. High School Gym at 7:00 PM. Parents will be given information about the season and coaches will have an opportunity to have a team meeting, following the general information session.
Saturday, August 25th - Complex setup day begins at 8:30 AM to mark fields, and prepare for the fall season.
