2-Leonard Walker........'L'
'L' & Little Rob
Leonard 'L' Walker
"if you need a big play, i mean if you need to get ur ass back in the game in a hurry, it don't get much better then 'L'."

Coming on to the team from the beginning, Walker joined the Wrecking Crew in the summer of 2004. From his first step into sixman football, he has always been a factor in every game he has played. With the Crew making it no secret that Walker is the first option to get the ball most of the game makes his production that much more impressive.
"His first year, he was just learning. Getting to know the game, but you could see the confidence growing." head coach Hector Muniz said."Best memory I will ever have of 'L', up to now, and i have a few. Would have to be our very first game in '05. We are down 6 coming out of the half against a good Longhorn team and he takes the kickoff back for a TD. Our whole team went crazy. It was the first real emotion for our team saying to the league 'hey, were new,but we are coming to play'. And 'L' made that happen. That's what he means to this squad. Game changer is what you call it."
The kickoff would come back for holding and the Crew would lose, but Walkers statement was made clear. Get ready!
The Crew would go on to finish 4 and 7 in their first season, but made it into the second round of the playoffs losing to a good Rage team.
With experience from year one under their belts, the Crew came out the gates fast in their second year. Opening up against the Bucs, the Crew destroyed them lead by Walkers three touchdowns in the first half alone. With another second round lose in the playoffs, the Crews expectations were very high going into their third year. Championship or bust! Spearheaded by Walker, the offense was unstoppable with more weapons added to aid Walker in the quest for the 'Cup'.
"That was the one thing 'L' had to understand. We were playing a scrimmage against the Bandits and you could see he was fustrated with the double teams and zoning that they and other teams were designing to stop him. Well, once he figuared out that by doing that, his teammates were left open and scoring, he was like 'thats fine with me, let me block.'. Thats the sign of a smart player. Unselfish player. To me,as a coach, you can't ask for anything more then that." Muniz said.
With the great attitude and a team loaded with talent, the Crew won the championship in 2007. Lead by many great players, Walker stood out the most winning the leagues Most Valuable Player award.
"I consider it a honor to know and coach 'L'. He has done all we have asked him to do. He is a leader on our team. Can't ask for more."
Now he is a champion.

11-Mondo Cruz-SS

"Mondo is the foundation of our team. It all started with players like him......"

In the summer of 2004, the Wrecking Crew football team was formed with the idea of builded with solid players that you could depend on. With the team goals set above all else. Who would do what was asked of them for the good of the team.

"Along the way he became a hell of a team leader." head coach Hector Muniz said.

Starting with the team from day one,  Mondo Cruz has endured all the the Crews ups and downs from the opening season woes to the TSFA championship in 2007.

"That first year we had him playing both ways.  He was a good solid running back. Alot of people don't know that about him. We would get in that wing formation and run Mondo. He did pretty good, but he likes to hit people. Thats what he's good at." Muniz said.

In the Crews second year, Cruz was moved from linebacker to safety. A move Muniz takes full credit for.

" I remember telling Will Copeland(defensive Coach) that I wanted to move Mondo to safety and he looked at me like i was crazy. We gave him a shot and he took it and ran." Muniz said.

"It allowed us to move Joey Gonzales to linebacker were he is one of the best in the league.

With Cruz moving to saftey, the crew would be in the top 5 in defensive scoring allowed in 2006 and in the top 3 in defensive scoring allowed in 2007.

"I really do beleive that Mondo Cruz is the epitomy of the term team player. I speak for quite a few people who played with him, it is honor to play with this guy. He plays hard for you. Lays it out every game."
