West Portage Little League 7/8 team finishes second in local pitching machine tournament
The West Portage National 7/8 yr old Tournament team recently won Pool C of the Michigan District 15 Machine Pitch Tournament with a 3-1 record and qualified for the Championship Round of the tournament played in Three Rivers. In the Championship Round they won their quarterfinal and semi-final games making it all they way to the Championship Game. They ended up finishing in 2nd place among 13 teams in the tournament and had an overall record of 5 wins and 2 losses.
