Little League Day at Camden Yards
For the second year in a row Woodstock-Edinburg had one of the largest groups at Little League day at Camden Yards in Baltimore.
Parents and players from all teams sat together in sections 354 and 356. There were over 250 people from the league at the game Sunday, April 26.
The day started with a parade around the warning track at the park. Our Little League players had a chance to give high-fives to Oriole players and the Oriole mascot.
The game was a success too with the Orioles beating the Texas Rangers 8-5.
It was a warm day but our seats were shaded.
Special thanks to Tara Bowman for taking charge of this great event for the Woodstock-Edinburg Little League.
We have started an album on our webpage if you would like to share your pictures please e-mail them today and we'll be glad to add them to our collection.

Our opening day ceremonies were held April 18 at the Shenandoah County
Fairgrounds. The day started with the Little League parade, introduction of players, speaches and the ceremonial first pitch.
The league celebrated softball at the ceremonies. The junior softball team lead the parade past the grandstand. Central assistant softball coach Jamie Nichols threw out the first pitch.
The day continued with games on the Woodstock fields. Beautiful weather greeted all players and spectators as spring finally arrived.
Eight games were played throughout the day on both fields.
