Volunteer Positions Available
In our continuing effort to strengthen our organization we are looking to the broader pool of talent we have within our WWYO families and supporters for individuals interested in volunteering for the following positions in our athletic programs:
§ Baseball Coach
§ Team Mom
Please read below for a description of duties each position will entail.
Baseball Coach
· Organize and manage your team.
· Prepare practice plans and practice schedules.
· Manage team equipment with support from volunteers.
· Manage field/facility set-up with support from volunteers.
· Work with the Program Director to evaluate players.
· Be an advocate for fair play and fun for your players.
· Be a liaison for your parents, players and the Program Director.
· Attend Coaches meetings and clinics.
Team Mom
· The administrative liaison for the team:
o Assist with player registration.
o Collect league fees.
o Maintain a current player roster and player database.
o Coordinate team transportation.
o Serve as liaison between Parents and Coaches.
o The team's representative on the fundraising committee.
o Be an advocate for fair play and fun for the players.
