Select Season:  
T-Ball Division
T-Ball (with safety baseball) - ages 4-7
1. Scores and books will not be kept.
2. Assigned by neighborhoods as much as possible.
3. Parent/guardian may request specific manager.
4. 4 & 5-year-olds MUST play Tee Ball.
5. 7-year-olds who have never played before (at parent/guardian request and after consultation with President and Player Agent).


Rookie Division
Rookies (Machine Pitch with safety baseball) – age 6-7
1. Scores and books will not be kept.
2. Assigned by neighborhoods as much as possible.
3. Parent/guardian may request specific manager.
4. 6-year-olds who have played a year of T-Ball are eligible for Rookies


"A" Division
A (“Single A”) – ages 7-8
1. ½ year of Machine pitch and ½ year of kid pitch with a RIF5 type baseball.
2. Scores and books will be kept
3. Assigned by neighborhoods as much as possible.
4. Parent/guardian may request specific manager.
5. 7-year-olds who have played a year of Coach Pitch are eligible for ‘A’.


"AA" (Minors) Division
AA (“Double A” Minor)– age 9 & opt-in age 8.
1. Introduction to Little League Baseball, kid pitch with standard baseball
2. Teams formed by Skills Assessment/draft method. Teams are re-drafted each season.
3. 9-year-olds play in AA (see 9 YO potential exceptions).
4. 8-year-olds who have played 1 year of "A" are eligible to opt-in to try-out for this division.


"AAA" (Minors) Division
AAA (“Triple A” Minor) – ages 9-12
1. Teams formed by Skills Assessment/draft method. Teams are re-drafted each season.
2. Any player ages 10-11 not drafted into the Majors Division.
3. 9-year-old players who have played 1 year of "AA" are eligible to opt-in to try-out for this division.
4. 12-year-old with approved waiver to play in Minors.
5. 12-year-olds may not pitch in AAA as per Little League Regulation.


Majors Division
Major – ages 10 -12.
1. Teams formed by Skills Assessment/draft method.
2. Players returning to a Major Division team remain property of the original team. (note: if an eighth team is added the entire major division will be redrafted.)
3. League Age 12-year-old must play in the Majors Division unless the appropriate waiver process has been completed.
4. League Age 8-year-old and younger may not play in Major Division as per Little League Regulation.
5. Rosters are limited to a maximum of two players of age 10.
6. All League Age 10-11 yo players not selected for Majors will be placed in AAA draft.


Juniors Division
Junior – ages 13-14
1. Teams formed by Skills Assessment/draft method. Teams are re-drafted each season.
2. Team will be made up of all 13-year-olds and 14-year-olds not drafted by a Senior Division team.
3. League age 13-year-olds cannot play in Senior Division. It is against LL regulation for a 13-year-old to play in the same division as a 16 year old.
4. League age 13-year-olds cannot play down. It is against LL regulation for a player above the league age 12 to play on a Major Division team.


Seniors Division
Senior – ages 14-16
1. Teams formed by Skills Assessment/draft method. Teams are re-drafted each season.
2. 14-Year-Olds are eligible to opt-in to tryout for this division. The number of 14-year-olds in Senior is driven by the number of teams and registered 15- and 16-year-olds. All opt-in 14-Year-Olds not drafted in Senior Division will be drafted in Junior Division.
3. 14-year-olds playing in Junior can participate in Senior Division play via the Player Pool.


Big League
Big League – ages 17-18
1. Inter-league play with other VA and MD District teams.
2. The number of registrations received will determine if WLL will form a team or combine with other leagues to form a district team.
3. 16-year-olds playing in Senior can participate in Big League play via the Player Pool.
4. No Skills Assessment required unless there are enough players to field more than one team.
