Welcome to the Emerald City Softball Women's Division website.
The ECSA Women's Division is open to both gay and non-gay women. Our mission is to provide a positive arena for softball, make new friends, rekindle friendships from years past and make this possible in an amicable, organized and informed atmosphere. Playing levels range from advanced to beginner and cover four divisions (A, B, C & D). Division placement depends primarily on player ability and overall team ability. We play every Sunday from April 19th - June 21st 2009 at Lower Woodland Fields in Seattle, Green Lake Way N & N 50th St. Dogs are not allowed at the fields! This year, we are pleased to announce that we will have 22 teams in our league. Contact ecsawomen@hotmail.com for more information about our league.

Emerald City Softball 2009 Meet N Greet
Our 2009 Meet'N'Greet was a success. Thank you to everyone that bought raffle tickets. We raised $137 that will be donated on behalf of the league to The Lambert House. Big thanks to Jabu's Pub for hosting the event! You can find photos from the evening under Albums.
We are proud to be a member of the Amateur Sports Association of North America (ASANA - formerly NAGAAA) www.asanasoftball.com , along with 27 other women's softball leagues like ours from across the USA and Canada. Each year teams are eligible to earn berths to represent ECSA at the ASANA Softball World Series. This year Madison, WI will be hosting Series 2009 Sept. 1-6. This just in!!!!!! The ASANA Executive Board has decided that teams attending ASANA's Series 2009 in Madison, WI will be offered an automatic berth to Series 2010 in Las Vegas. There will be rules in place around this such as there must be a minimum number of returning players, 7. We are very excited this year that we have no berth limitations to attend the Madtown Series 2009!! Bring your teams! Bring your individual players as pick up players. We are thinking very "outside the box" to include everyone so spread the news.
