Backed by two touchdowns apiece by senior wide receiver Gregg Jackson and sophomore running back DeVante Bonvillian, the Eagles took a 46-19 victory over Killingly in the season opener.
Bonvillian, who scored 17 touchdowns on the freshmen team in 2008, scored with two consecutive 14-yard run scores. He finished with 158 yards on only 14 carries.
Jackson scored on a fumble recovery and four consecutive 2-point conversion runs.
