Kristen-Leigh Mantiglia Scholarship Fund
The Kristen-Leigh Mantiglia Memorial Scholarship was established January 20, 2007 at the Webster Bank at 710 Wolcott Road, Wolcott, CT by her Aunt and Godmother - Lori-Jean Lacaria to honor Kristen-Leigh as a student-athlete who accomplished so much in her short life. Initially, it will be awarded to a Wolcott High School Senior Softball player who exemplifies many of Kristen-Leigh's attributes and will be attending a school of higher education. Applications will be posted at the Wolcott High School guidance office. For 2007, the applications will be due by May 8th.
Kristen-Leigh was a 2005 recipient of a Wolcott Circle of Sports 'At Large' Scholarship for her accomplishments as a 4 year varsity softball player at Wolcott High School. Through this scholarship fund, Kristen-Leigh's family would like to extend a donation to the Wolcott Circle of Sports to award a scholarship in Kristen's name.
Donations can be made at any Webster Bank branch. Funds should be directed to the "Kristen-Leigh Mantiglia Memorial Scholarship Fund". Any and all donations will be appreciated.

Kristen was a unique athlete who always gave 100%. She was a first class young lady in every respect and was one of the most coachable players ever to put on a softball uniform at Wolcott High School. Her dedication and determination to work as hard as she could for her coach and teammates set standards for future players at WHS. A plaque honoring her contributions to Wolcott Softball will be permanently displayed on the screen at home plate where it will be in view of all future players to remind them of the person and player that she was.
