http://westmonroerebels.blogspot.com/

Congratulation to all of the West Monroe Rebel Players, Coaches, Staff, etc for bringing the title back to West Monroe. Conner Osborne received the games MVP for West Monroe. Congratulations Conner!

This was a great game plan by our Coaches! Carencro did not have 1 drive all night and were held to 261 yards below their season's average per game.  The DeFense was amazing!

Their is no better DeFense in Louisiana this year except LSU! Just kidding! 2 interceptions on the night by the Rebels! Xavier Woods and Alex Yount!

Deano Casola and James McFarland were the leading tacklers for the Rebels, but it took the entire DeFense to totally dominate any Carencro attempt at winning this game.

This was a total team effort!

I know we had alot of miscues, but we are the State Champions and that's what counts at the end of the day.

The Rebels had 14 first downs compared to 7 for Carencro. West Monroe had 213 yards on the ground and 33 through the air. Conner had a 45 yard td and a 14 yard td. Beau Benson had a 46 yard field goal and a 31 yard field goal. Zach Alexander provided the 2 extra points.

The DeFense held and then Conner Osborne connected with Logan Murray for a td.

The DeFense was amazing! Deano Casola was finally back after several weeks and it showed how much he means to this team.

Terrell Lathan and James McFarland stayed in Hahnville's backfield. The DeFense held Hahnville to 33 yards passing and a net 77 yards rushing.

Steven Jones had a 100 yards rushing to put him over 1,000 yards on the season to date.

Way to Go Rebs!

The playoff scenerio!

The Rebel are sitting at #5 or #6 this week with the win and a Mandeville loss.

Rummel and Brother Martin meet head to head Saturday! If Brother Martin wins, they will finish around a 13.4. This would drop Rummel to around 13.44.

It looks like with a Rummel win, we may be tied with them for #5. Jesuit has to play West Jefferson and if West Jefferson should win, that would make West Monroe or Rummel #4.
