What a Game! If you would have told me at 5:00 left in this game that we were not going to win, I would have called you crazy!

I have never seen something like this in all my years of high school football. The Rebels totally contained Barbe

and had over 500 yards of offense until the final minutes occured. My hats off to our players and coaches. This was

a game that had over 1,000 yards of offense.  I am still stunned. What else can you say other than we played a heck of a team that did not give up.

Michael Mims played lights out with almost 300 yards rushing and 5 TD's. Segrick Williams had 161 yards and 2

TD's.

Congratulations Rebs  on another great season that just fell short.

The Rebels win and advance to the Semi-Finals at Barbe! I want all of the Rebel fans to have Coach Shows

and family in their prayers. Shows was hit on the sideline and was hurt.

Michael Mims had 195 yards rushing, 1 TD, passed for another TD to Logan Murry. Logan Murry also passed for

a TD to Tanner Noel. Segrick Williams and Steven Jones had rushing TD's.

Great job DeFense!

West Monroe played a great game considering what they had to over come. This game almost lasted 3 hours
for 2 teams that did not pass the ball.
The officials did what they could to keep this game close, but the Rebels survived the opening round!
The Rebels had over 300 yard of offense, 271 on the ground and 98 by air. Jim Bennett scored on a long run
to get the Rebels going. Xavier Woods had a 54 yard reception from Michael Mims for a TD.
Steven Jones also had a long run for a TD.
The DeFense scored on a interception by Dylan Burdeaux! Dylan also had a 63 yard punt! averaged 48 yards a punt.
Zach Alexander had a 38 yard FG to completed the scoring. The Rebels did have 2 scores called back!
Way to go Rebs!
