WEST MONROE 30  Rummel 0

Louisiana 5A State Champions!

We'll, we just arrived back from a great weekend of high school football in the Big Easy!

What a night! The Rebels played a complete game in dominating Rummel from start

We'll fans, it's D day here in the Big Easy! On a cold rain soaked day, the Rebels get ready

for a game that is believed to be a defensive battle. The headlines here reads"

first state crown within reach for Rummel. It should be a great day for high school fans

here and all indications tell me the Rebels will be ready.

This year's games are totally reversed from last year's games. Evangel who lost last year

has won. Notre Dame who lost last year has won. It's our turn! Look for the Rebels to

bring another title back home.

Go Rebs!

Evangel wins 2A 18-13 over John Curtis!

Notre Dame 3A  14-7 over Parkview Baptist!

Haynesville 1A over South Plaquemine 19-12

Neville 4A over Franklinton 31-15

The breeze was blowing in from the North this year!  4 for 4!

We'll be heading out early Friday to the Big Easy! The Radio People will be broadcasting

all 3 games Saturday live from the SuperDome. I hope most of the Rebel fans make the

trip!  If you can't, you will be able to listen to all of the games on the Radio

People Network.  You should be able to listen via the internet like always from the same

link!
