Women's Masters Soccer League of London (WMSL): Welcome

All team rosters, playing schedule, shirts and equipment have been distributed to the Team Managers.  The 2014 season will begin on Sunday, May 11.  You will find the 2014 Playing Schedule posted in the Handout section (located in the left column).  All teams are finalized and no further adjustments will be made.  No refunds will be granted since we have past the deadline date of May 1.  We do not have a waiting list and no new players will be added to the league.

Game Day/Location – games will be played Sunday evenings between 6 pm – 9 pm at the Windermere soccer fields (corner of Adelaide Street and Windermere Road, across from the Waltzing Weasel).  Season will run May 11-August 24, 2014.

Important Notice:  during the first three weeks of our season some games will be played on the North London fields (located down the street from Windermere Fields).  We are not allowed to play on Windermere Fields 1 and 2 as per the City of London.  Please check your schedule to ensure you have the right field location.

Community Support The WMSL always gives back to our community by picking a local charitable organization to support.  This year we have chosen the Merry Mount Children’s Centre.  This centre provides services to children and families in times of crisis.  If you want to learn more about this organization please see their website http://www.merrymount.on.ca.  We encourage you to make a donation when you register or at the site directly.  All donations are welcome and appreciated. Thank you.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the pitch!  Cheers, Dina & Lynn :)

Welcome to the Women's Masters Soccer League of London (WMSL) website. We are a recreational women's masters (35+) soccer league based in London, Ontario, Canada.  We encourage all women to try our league, regardless of your experience.  We run our league very similar to 3-on-3 hockey, extremely recreational.  If you have played in a competitive league in the past and you would like a more competive game, our league is not for you.  Our league gives women an opportunity to take time out for themselves while getting some exercise and most importantly having fun!

- No experience required
- No scheduled practices
- No standings
- No play-offs
- No official coaches

We encourage all families and friends to come out and watch our games.  Come support your wife, girlfriend, Mom, sister, daughter or friend on the sidelines.  You will be amazed at how talented these women are and how much fun they have!  We are happy to  provide this opportunity for them.  They are an amazing group of women and we are privileged to have them play in our league.

Should you have any questions, please email us.  Dina Boone OR Lynn MacKinnon
