Women's Masters Soccer League of London (WMSL): Welcome

Announcment – 2017 Final Season

It is with mixed emotions we inform you that the Women’s Masters Soccer League of London has made the difficult decision to dissolve the league. The past couple of years our numbers have considerably changed and we are personally at the point of not being able to manage the league due to other commitments.

When we started the league 12 years ago we made a commitment to each other that we would continue until it was practical for both of us. It has been a wonderful journey and we are extremely grateful to each of you for your continued support over the years. A special thank you to all of our team managers who helped to ensure things ran smoothly; we could not have done this without you.

We want to ensure everyone has plenty of time to look for an alternative league next season. Here are a few leagues you may want to explore:

Cheers, Dina and Lynn

Community Support - WMSL likes to give back to our local community. Thank you to everyone who made a donation during the 2017 registration to the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex Society.  Collectively we raised a total of $600, that is AMAZING!!!!  This donation was put towards the Walk for Alzheimer's event held on Saturday, May 13, 2107.  Feel free to check out their website for further details of this upcoming event (alzheimerlondon.ca).  Your donation helped many families within our community dealing with this disease.

OUR VISION

Welcome to the Women's Masters Soccer League of London (WMSL) website. We are a recreational women's masters (35+) soccer league based in London, Ontario, Canada.  We encourage all women to try our league, regardless of your experience.  We run our league very similar to 3-on-3 hockey, extremely recreational.  If you have played in a competitive league in the past and you would like a more competive game, our league is not for you.  Our league gives women an opportunity to take time out for themselves while getting some exercise and most importantly having fun!

- No experience required
- No scheduled practices
- No standings
- No play-offs
- No official coaches

We encourage all families and friends to come out and watch our games.  Come support your wife, girlfriend, Mom, sister, daughter or friend on the sidelines.  You will be amazed at how talented these women are and how much fun they have!  We are happy to  provide this opportunity for them.  They are an amazing group of women and we are privileged to have them play in our league.
