Women's Masters Soccer League of London (WMSL): Welcome

Registration is now closed.

We are currently working on creating the teams.  Once everything is complete we will send information to all Team Managers by May 1, 2016.

Game Day/Location – Games are played Sunday evenings between 6 PM and 8 PM at the Windermere soccer fields (corner of Adelaide Street and Windermere Road, across from the Waltzing Weasel).  The season runs from May 15, 2016 to August 28, 2016.

Fees – We are pleased to announce that the registration fee for 2016 remains the same as last season.  The fee is $110.

Registration will open on Monday, February 29, 2016 (6 am) and will close Monday, March 21, 2016 (6 pm).  We will not accept registrations after the closing date.  Should our numbers exceed our registration limit we have the right to close the system early.  There are no refunds after May 1, 2016.

Team/Group Requests – If you have a specific team or group of people with whom you would like to play, we suggest the following:

  1. Choose a unique name for your group (e.g. "warriors").  Space is limited so please keep your group name short and simple.
  2. Ensure someone in your group controls the number of people who have access to your special group name to avoid disappointment.  Please remember the maximum number of players on a team is 25.
  3. During the registration process when you are asked the following question ... "Would you like to play with a specific individual or group/team?" … your answer to this question should be your group name.

Individual Player Requests - During the registration process when you are asked the following question ... "Would you like to play with a specific individual or group/team?" … your answer to this question should be the name of the person whom you wish to play.

The number of players on each team will vary depending on requests and registration numbers.  We do our best to accommodate all requests but there are no guarantees.

Shirt Sizing – We are planning to use the same shirt style as last season so base your size selection on last year’s jersey.

Community Support – The WMSL always gives back to our community.  This year we have chosen to support the Alzheimer Society London and MiddlesexThe Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex have been actively supporting families and individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias since 1982. They advocate for and provide support services, education and funding for research for those affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Please check out their website (http://www.alzheimerlondon.ca/ ) to learn more about this organization.  We encourage you to make a donation when you register.  All donations are welcome and appreciated.  Thank you.

We look forward to seeing all of you back again for another fun season!  Cheers, Dina & Lynn :)

Welcome to the Women's Masters Soccer League of London (WMSL) website. We are a recreational women's masters (35+) soccer league based in London, Ontario, Canada.  We encourage all women to try our league, regardless of your experience.  We run our league very similar to 3-on-3 hockey, extremely recreational.  If you have played in a competitive league in the past and you would like a more competive game, our league is not for you.  Our league gives women an opportunity to take time out for themselves while getting some exercise and most importantly having fun!

- No experience required
- No scheduled practices
- No standings
- No play-offs
- No official coaches

We encourage all families and friends to come out and watch our games.  Come support your wife, girlfriend, Mom, sister, daughter or friend on the sidelines.  You will be amazed at how talented these women are and how much fun they have!  We are happy to  provide this opportunity for them.  They are an amazing group of women and we are privileged to have them play in our league.
