WITCHES ELITE GOLD TEAM PHILOSOPHY

Player performance on the softball field is a very large part of the success they will have in getting into the college of their choice, with meaningful financial assistance. It, however, is only a one piece of the puzzle. Ensuring that players carry themselves in a positive manner on and off the field is at the core of the team philosophy.

College coaches are making hard financial decisions when they recruit players. The Witches Elite Gold team has a reputation that college coaches have come to respect. In order to maintain that reputation, team rules and requirements are instituted to give the best possible profile for the team and its individuals. Witches Elite Gold players are expected to carry themselves in a manner that will benefit themselves and their teammates.

Getting a player the best opportunity to obtain college scholarships requires the full cooperation of players, coaches and parents. The team philosophy recognizes this reality and addresses all areas of player conduct that might diminish their scholarship chances and those of their teammates.

We believe the Witches Elite Gold is a great place for players to refine their skills and to develop into first rate college players. We cannot afford the time away from task that comes with unmotivated and undisciplined players. The pressures of college recruitment are many. Additional pressures will not come from failed team chemistry. This is a promise we make every player.

The West Jersey Witches coaches, family and friends would like to congratulate the following 2009 seniors on signing their National Letter of Intent to their respective schools. Great Job!!!
